I can work WITH you and/or FOR you on the project/area of your choice.


Working WITH you means:

I can 'meet' with you live via Zoom and/or we can communicate in real time in text and/or voice message format via your choice of available software.


Examples of work I have completed WITH clients are:

  • Discussion & action planning to meet a specific need type within the setting - e.g. sensory
  • Discussion of current issues which are challenging in the setting - e.g. HR related, capability related, TA deployment related
  • Support with assessment or documentation - e.g. applying for an EHC Plan & identification of evidence to be collated
  • Reviewing how inclusive the setting is and steps for development
  • Support & action planning relating to TA deployment
  • Leadership & change management to inform the development of practice within a setting

Working FOR you means:

During your booked time, I can work on a task / tasks of your choice.

(Ideally you should factor in a time lot for me to present my work to you for discussion before the end-of-day evaluation.)


Examples of work I have completed FOR clients are:


  • Review of setting handbook with suggestions for editing.
  • Review of setting policy/policies with advice & notes for updates.
  • Compiling notes / drafts for the creation of a new policy - e.g. SEND, Safeguarding
  • Creation of an intervention plan for a specific pupil.
  • Creation of audit forms, forms to alert SENCo to pupil need and the development of one page pupil profiles.
  • Creation of a support plan identifying how to enable a staff member to meet the targets related to their professional standards.
  • Creation of an induction policy and associated proformas.


Typically the day will be a combination of working WITH and FOR you.



Structure of the day:


1) CLARIFICATION OF BRIEF & WAYS OF WORKING:

Although you will be sent a questionnaire to fill in to indicate the area you want me to focus on during the booked day, this can change with the actual brief not being established until the start of your booking.


The day begins with a LIVE meeting (video/voice/text chat as per your preference) for a session of circa 30 minutes in order to clarify and agree the brief and schedule for the day. During this time, I can meet with an individual or group.


We will need to establish:


  • The timings of working WITH and FOR
  • WHO you want me to work with and when
  • Who my main point of contact is - with clarity re: who can authorise any changes of the schedule or focus of my work as we go through the day


2) CORE OF DAY - WORK TO YOUR SCHEDULE:

You decide what you want me to do, with whom and when.


  • I am available to work WITH/FOR you in any way within the booked time slot.
  • I can work with individuals and/or groups of your choice. 
  • I can also work independently towards your brief during times when I am not working WITH you.
  • We can work on a task simultaneously and exchange messages, documents and/or draft live.
  • If you require any other ways of working - e.g. morning to create information /documentation and afternoon to share/deliver to a specific audience may be possible depending on the topic area.


3) CLARIFICATION OF WORK COMPLETED TOWARDS THE BRIEF & IDENTIFICATION OF NEXT STEPS


I will focus fully on your brief for the day and provide you with my expertise and advice throughout.

Where I work FOR you, I will maxmise the time allocated to move your forward significantly in your area of choice.

The complexity of your brief and your use of my time will impact on what 'deliverables' we can attain by the end of the 6 hours.


It is essential therefore, that we meet for a minimum of the final 30 minutes in order to evaluate progress made towards the brief so that we can:

  • Revisit the brief, your requirements re: structure of the day and the associated tasks allocated.
  • Evaluate challenges and progress against the brief and the level of client satisfaction.
  • Identify potential next steps for the setting.

If further hours working to the same brief are required, add-on hours -at a preferential rate - may be available.
